Dr. Matthew Wirt is board certified in both Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and sees patients of all ages. Dr. Wirt was born in central Pennsylvania and went to college at Elizabethtown College where he majored in Biology. He then went to Pennsylvania State University, Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine and then did his Residency and Fellowship training in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. He began working at Renaissance Family Practice in 2012 at the Penn Hills Division. Dr. Wirt serves as the Associate Director of Geriatric Education within the UPMC St. Margaret Geriatric Fellowship Program. Dr. Wirt enjoys spending time with family.
