Renaissance Family Practice (RFP) formed in 1995 as a union of six private primary care offices.

The original 25 physicians were committed to delivering the highest quality of healthcare. Also, our doctors are committed to educating future generations of physicians through the UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency Program.

RFP was formed to provide high quality care for individuals, families and the community at large.

Our mission remains the same today for our group of now 33 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers.

In 2008, we joined the UPMC Primary Care network and have maintained our culture as a well-respected neighborhood practice that cares for multiple generations within families.

For years, Renaissance Family Practice has been viewed as one of the highest quality primary care practices. Many of our physicians are named “Best Doctors” by Pittsburgh Magazine each year, affirming our commitment to high quality patient-centered health care.

We believe in a team-oriented approach to patient care, cultivating the relationship that patients have with our practice.

Everyone is a part of this mission, from the person who greets them, to the nurse who helps them feel at home, to the physician who treats each patient as an individual. This comprehensive strategy is at the heart of our excellent clinical quality and patient satisfaction.

Our physicians and 90+ team members partner with patients from birth throughout their lifetime. We offer access to care 7 days a week through scheduled and walk in appointments. Our patients have access to care in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, and home settings. We have physicians specially trained in geriatrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, and sports medicine.
